Her Living Legacy
Who She Was
She was the kind of woman whose presence changed a room — not because she demanded attention, but because she carried something rare. A peace. A warmth. A quiet strength rooted deep in her faith that made everyone around her feel seen, loved, and safe.
Born on July 6, 1959, the beloved daughter of Edward Lee Jones and Lillie Ruth Siler, Shelia grew into a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was centered around three things above all else: faith, family, and service.
For many years she worked at Coty Inc. in Sanford, North Carolina — known by her coworkers for her strong work ethic and quiet dedication. She brought that same spirit home every evening, pouring it into her husband, her children, and her church.
She found great joy in sewing, attending church, and spending precious time with her family. She shared forty-four loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, Warren Anderson, Sr. — together building a legacy of love that will continue for generations.
"She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend — whose life was centered around faith, family, and service. Her warm spirit, caring heart, and unwavering love for those around her left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her."
First Lady
She stood beside her husband's calling with grace and devotion — not in title alone, but with her whole heart, every single day.
Mother & Grandmother
To her four children, thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren — she was their anchor, their home, their heart.
44 Years of Marriage
She and Warren Sr. built a beautiful family and a legacy of love across forty-four faithful years together.
Her Legacy Lives On
She lives on in Janisa, in Leina, and in every generation that follows — her faith, kindness, and love carried forward forever.
The Family She Leaves Behind
She poured everything into her children. Shanora, Chrissy, Warren, and Alisha are not just her children — they are her answered prayers, her living testimony, and the continuation of everything she believed and built. Through them, her love multiplied into thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren — a family tree rooted in her faith.

First Lady · Pastor's Wife · Servant of God
"Behind every pastor's ministry is a woman who prayed when no one was watching, served when no one was thanking her, and believed when the vision seemed impossible. She was that woman."
To be a pastor's wife is to be called to a life of service, sacrifice, and steadfast faith. She answered that calling not reluctantly, but with her whole heart — every single day of her life. She worshipped at Gospel Lighthouse Word Ministries in Sanford, NC, where her warm spirit and caring heart left a lasting impression on every soul she encountered.
First Lady · At the Church She Served
Prayer
She prayed without ceasing — for her husband, her children, her church, and every soul she met.
Faith
Her faith was not performance. It was the bedrock she stood on in every season of life.
Grace
She carried herself with a grace that was unmistakable — in her words, her actions, her presence.
Love
She loved loudly and without condition. Her love was never withheld from anyone who needed it.
Before He Was Born
Long before Warren took his first breath, before his name was known, before his face could be seen — his mother was already on her knees. She prayed with a faith that did not require proof. She asked God for a son, described who she believed he would be, and trusted the God she had served her entire life.
And He did. Warren is not a coincidence. He is not an accident. Warren is a direct answer to a specific prayer that a faithful woman prayed before he was born. That is why this legacy is called Answered Prayer. Warren is living proof that God hears, God remembers, and God answers.
And the answer did not stop with Warren. It continued — through Janisa, the woman God placed beside him, and through their daughter Leina, who carries the prayer into yet another generation.
— Jeremiah 1:5 · "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you."
The Answered Prayer
Warren
Prayed for before he was born
His mother knelt in prayer and asked God for him — specifically, intentionally, faithfully. Warren's entire life is the answer to that prayer. And through Janisa and Leina, the answer is still unfolding.

The Prayer Continues
She prayed for Warren before he was born. God answered with Warren — and then kept answering. He gave Warren a wife in Janisa, a woman of strength and grace who stands beside him the way his mother once stood beside his father. And He gave them Leina — the next generation of answered prayer. The legacy does not end with Warren. It lives and grows through this family.
Warren
Husband · Father · The Answered Prayer
He is the living proof of his mother's faith. Every step he takes, every family he builds, every morning he chooses purpose — he is being the answer she prayed for.
Janisa
Wife · Mother · The Answer Beside Him
She is not just Warren's wife — she is part of the answer. God knew that Warren's prayer needed a Janisa beside it. She carries this legacy forward with grace, strength, and love.
Leina
Daughter · The Next Generation · Still Being Answered
Leina is the proof that answered prayers don't end — they multiply. Her grandmother prayed for Warren. Warren and Janisha will pray for her. And one day Leina will pray for someone not yet born.
The Prayer That Keeps Going
She prayed for Warren before he existed. Warren found Janisa. Together they brought Leina into the world. Three generations — all connected by one woman's prayer, one God's faithfulness, and one family's commitment to carry it forward. The prayer she prayed did not end when she went home to glory. It is still alive in every heartbeat of this family. Leina will grow up in the shadow of a grandmother's prayer — and that is the greatest inheritance any child could have.
"She went to glory — but the prayer she prayed for Warren is still being answered. It lives in Janisa. It lives in Leina. It will live in every generation that follows this family."

Shelia with her daughters & family
"She prayed for Warren before he was born. God answered. Then He kept answering — through Janisa, through Leina, through every generation this family will ever know. That is not just a story. That is Answered Prayer."
— In Her Eternal Honor · Answered Prayer
"Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Shelia's legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in all who were blessed to know her."
